How Can You Help Troubled
Kids Ranch?
#1: Del needs "seed money".
The most pressing need is to raise $10,000 now
to pay the deposit to hold the property. We are asking anyone with
a spare $1 (or more!) to donate to the goal of paying the deposit
by the end of April 2008.
#2: More money to buy the property.
The property needs to be purchased. Del is seeking
financing, but certainly if she finds some angel investors to help
out, that would be wonderful.
#3: Donate used (or new) horse equipment
and feed/hay:
Do you have any horse-related equipment or supplies
that you would like to donate to the Ranch? Everything will be useful.
Although there are already horses in residence just waiting for
kids to show up, there is always a need for tack, feed, hay, whatever.
We can use what you can't use, as long as it is still in workable
condition.
#4: Volunteer your time:
If you have a spare morning, afternoon or evening,
weekday or weekend, and you'd like to use that time to benefit some
kids who need attention and direction, Troubled Kids Ranch can sure
use your help.
Volunteers can be used for any kind of ranch work,
as well as for working directly with the kids who come to the Ranch.
Any skills you bring are helpful. You don't need to be a horse expert
(or even know one end of the horse from the other) to be useful.
#5: Bring your child who is struggling
with school, relationships, authority and discipline.
Troubled Kids Ranch is all about helping kids to
learn love, respect and responsibility. Using the ranch animals
as teaching tools, kids respond and learn quickly that they need
to alter their behavior to be successful with the animals.
Del wants every child who needs to be here, to
come and learn. If you can pay $1, that's fine. If you can pay $50,
that's great. The goal is to help the children who need it.
Call today and talk to Del about what you
want to do to help.
